This October, the Lodestar Mountain Inn is offering several wonderful opportunities to do just that!
Our month begins with Gap Year at Lodestar Preview Day on October 9. If you or someone you know is considering what comes next after high school, this is a great opportunity to experience the Gap Year program firsthand. Prospective students and their families can learn about the program, meet staff and students, tour the campus, enjoy lunch, and discover how Gap Year at Lodestar helps young adults grow in character, calling, and community as they seek to know Christ and make Him known.
That same weekend, October 9-11, we’ll welcome Gap Year alumni back to the mountain for Gap Year Alumni Homecoming Weekend – a special time to reconnect with friends, share memories, and celebrate what God has done through the program.
Then, October 16-18, enjoy the Fall Hymn Sing Getaway Weekend! Gather with fellow believers for a relaxing fall weekend filled with fellowship and the timeless hymns of our faith. Howard Russell will lead the group in singing songs that have encouraged generations of believers. Guests will also have time to enjoy the beauty of Smoke Hole Canyon, explore the property, and simply relax.
The following weekend, October 23-25, brings the Apple Butter Getaway Weekend. Spend a Saturday learning the time-honored process of making apple butter, then roll up your sleeves as we make it together! Add beautiful fall foliage, good food, fellowship, and the peaceful surroundings of Lodestar, and you have the recipe for a memorable autumn weekend.
