Apple Butter Getaway Weekend

Autumn is here; what better way to welcome this wonderful time of year than immersing yourself in beautiful scenery, good fellowship, and the sweet aroma of homemade apple butter? Well, look no further than the Apple Butter Getaway Weekend, October 23-25, 2026, at the Lodestar Mountain Inn.

Check-in is Friday at 3:00 p.m., allowing ample time to settle in, enjoy the beautiful fall scenery, and get to know fellow retreaters before dinner and fellowship at 6:00 p.m. After dinner, we will relax together and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Lodestar Mountain Inn as we prepare for a special weekend celebrating the traditions and flavors of the fall season.

On Saturday, breakfast items will be available at 8:00 a.m. to kick off this day dedicated to learning the time-honored process of apple butter-making. We will discover what makes up this delicious fall tradition, from preparing the apples to cooking and stirring the butter, and then put what we learn into practice as we make apple butter together. After brunch at 10:30 a.m., we will continue the apple butter-making process while enjoying conversation, fellowship, and fun. Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. in the Ebenezer Event Center, followed by a relaxing evening together around a campfire or the stone fireplace in the Event Center.

On Sunday, breakfast will be served at 8:00 a.m., followed by a worship service at 9:30 a.m. Afterwards, take time to relax, enjoy the beautiful fall foliage, or explore the peaceful surroundings of Smoke Hole Canyon before checkout at noon.

The cost, including tax, to join this unique fall getaway is $393.60 for couples or $252.80 for individuals. To register by Friday, October 16, click here.
