Victory Weekend Veterans &  First Responders Getaway Weekend

What happens when you spend a weekend away from the demands of everyday life, surrounded by people who understand what it means to serve? Sometimes, the best way to keep moving forward is to slow down, breathe deeply, and simply enjoy some time to rest and recharge.

Join us for the Victory Weekend Veterans & First Responders Getaway, November 6–8, at the Lodestar Mountain Inn. This special weekend is designed specifically for veterans, first responders, and their spouses to step away from the busyness of life, enjoy the beauty and quiet of Smoke Hole Canyon, and experience rest, renewal, and fellowship with others who share similar experiences.

Scott and Amy Wenger, event hosts and keynote speakers, have both served in the United States military and as first responders in their community. You will be challenged, spiritually fed, and loved.

Friday Evening
Arrive and check in beginning at 3:00 p.m. Take some time to settle into your accommodations, explore the property, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Lodestar Mountain Inn.
At 6:00 p.m., we will gather for dinner and an evening of fellowship. It will be a great opportunity to meet other veterans, first responders, and spouses and kick off a weekend of encouragement, friendship, and renewal.

Saturday
Start the morning with breakfast at 8:00 a.m., followed by time together designed for encouragement, rest, reflection, and fellowship. At 10:30 a.m., have brunch before the afternoon of relaxing and enjoying Lodestar. Take a walk, spend some quiet time outdoors, take a guided UTV tour of the property, hike the mountain, fish the ponds, or skeet shoot ($25 per shooter). Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. in the Ebenezer Event Center, followed by an evening of fellowship and relaxation around the fire pit, so bring a lawn chair.

Sunday
After breakfast together at 8:00 a.m., we will gather for a morning devotional and time of worship at 9:30 a.m. Afterward, take some time to enjoy the morning, reflect on the weekend, and fellowship with those you’ve met before checking out at noon.

This weekend is about more than getting away. It is an opportunity to rest, renew, reconnect, and remember that you are not alone. We hope you’ll join Scott and Amy Wenger for a meaningful weekend surrounded by people who understand the unique joys and challenges that come with a life of service.
