Our Mission & Beliefs

Our Goals

Much construction has been done at the Lodestar Mountain Inn. Completed projects include the Weaver House, which includes five bedrooms; the Wesley Prayer Chapel; two cottages, each with a separate upstairs and a downstairs unit; the Evangel House, consisting of five bedrooms; and the Ebenezer Event Center, which has five bedrooms and will also serve as a meeting and dining hall for large groups.

Our latest ministry partnership and construction effort is focused on the OneLife gap year program. Students moved into the first dormitory in 2022, and the second is nearing completion. These structures house young men and women and their Resident Leaders. They also include classroom space, office space for the OneLife staff, and kitchen, dining, and common areas.  We are excited for what has already been accomplished with this project and are praying for a quick completion of the second dormitory.

Our Purpose

Our heart is to serve pastors, business leaders, first responders, veterans, families, and individuals by offering a special time away with God in a tranquil, beautiful setting with comfortable, charming accommodations.

At Lodestar Mountain Inn, our purpose is to provide a place of healing, hope, encouragement, rest, recovery, and training for those who are wounded or discouraged by the battles of life.  Already, countless lives have been changed by this sacred place.

Using the Lodestar Guidance principles, we will help develop leadership skills to empower individuals to live and lead effectively. For more information, visit lodestarguidance.com.

What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal return to Earth in power and glory.

We believe that, for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ is absolutely essential.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost — they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers through Jesus Christ.
