Volunteer Workdays

Many people believe in the vision and mission of the Lodestar Mountain Inn and are eager to leave their fingerprints on the beautiful Smoke Hole Canyon property.  With the sheer size of the property and the volume of impactful programs at the retreat center, we are always looking for those who want to invest in the Lord’s work with their time and talents.  Throughout the year, we host Volunteer Work Days and welcome folks from all over the country to help us maintain the retreat center grounds so that guests can have the best experience possible.  Service projects include cutting and splitting firewood for campfires and for the grand, stone fireplace in the Ebenezer Event Center; lawn maintenance; mulching around buildings; collecting debris along the property; and light construction on buildings in progress, among many other options.

We are often able to provide lodging and meals for volunteers who are able to invest multiple days.  If you have questions, please complete our volunteer registration form and then email Scott at info@lodestarmountaininn.com. If you are not receiving our emails, please contact us so we can add you to our email distribution list.  Then watch for opportunities to use your time, gifts, and talents at the Lodestar Mountain Inn.  We greatly appreciate each of you!
