We recognize the importance of this commitment to donors and to the Lord; therefore, we are wholeheartedly committed to the following:

  • Adhering to a Statement of Faith, clearly written and boldly proclaiming our commitment to evangelism and discipleship and adherence to the Great Commission.
  • Governance by an involved Board of Directors who share and support the vision and mission of WMI, meeting regularly to approve budgets, new avenues of effective ministry, establish practices and policies, and review all results and accomplishments.
  • Ensuring that we use all contributions strategically and wisely in accordance with our vision and mission to spread the never-changing gospel of Jesus Christ to all we encounter. In view of our vision and mission, all fundraising appeals will be made in a clear and concise way, and our Board of Directors will provide oversight that all funding is used for the intended purposes.
  • WMI reserves the right to apply funds to other areas in most critical need in the event of a surplus of funds for a particular project.  Using best practices, strategic planning, and guided discernment, directors will designate contributions in a manner that best allows WMI to achieve its vision and mission.
  • Contracting with an independent certified public accountant to perform an annual audit to ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Making the annual Form 990 available on the WMI websites and to all who request the information.
  • Maintaining and complying with a Whistle-Blower Policy, Records Retention Policy, and abiding by a stern Code of Ethics.
