Ministry Leaders Retreat

Are you a pastor, missionary, or ministry leader looking for ways to glean from the experiences, lessons, and observations of other ministry leaders? Join Scott and Amy Wenger as they host a midweek retreat for ministry leaders at the Ministry Leaders Retreat, July 7-9, 2026. Our keynote speaker, Brad Huddleston, will provide inspiration and insight into the reality of the digital world. 

Brad Huddleston is an internationally respected speaker, consultant, teacher, and author on important issues such as technology and culture. He has worked with universities, schools, churches, and law enforcement. He has spoken to hundreds of thousands worldwide on the advantages of well-used technology tools and the dangers of the growing trend toward technology addiction. Brad has an ongoing collaboration with the Bureau of Market Research (BMR)—an independent company—and its Consumer Neuroscience Division at the University of South Africa. Brad has a degree in Computer Science and a Diploma of Biblical Studies. He is a frequent guest on radio and television and the author of Digital Rehab: Learning to Live Again in the Real World, Digital Cocaine: A Journey Toward iBalance, and The Dark Side of Technology: Restoring Balance in the Digital Age. Brad also hosts the international radio show “Brad Huddleston’s Techwise.”

Check-in will be on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m., allowing ample time to settle in before dinner and fellowship at 6:00 p.m. Afterwards, we will come together for our first group session of the retreat.

On Wednesday, breakfast will be served at 8:00 a.m., followed by a morning group session and then lunch at 12:15 p.m. After lunch, the afternoon is yours to enjoy the Lodestar Mountain Inn or nearby attractions.  Optional activities, such as UTV tours of the property, hiking our trails, games, and self-guided fishing, will be available until dinner at 5:30 p.m. in the Ebenezer Event Center.

On Thursday, breakfast will be served at 8:00 a.m. before our final session of the retreat. Afterwards, take time to rest or enjoy a light lunch before checkout at noon.

The cost to be a part of this uplifting weekend getaway is $393.60, including tax, for couples and $252.80, including tax, for individuals. To register by the Wednesday, July 1, deadline, click here.
