Ministry Leaders Retreat

What happens when you take a break from the demands of ministry and spend time with others who understand the unique joys and challenges of serving the Lord? Sometimes, the best way to move forward is to slow down, breathe deeply, and make room for rest, renewal, and meaningful conversation.

Join us for the Ministries Leaders Retreat, January 26-28, at the Lodestar Mountain Inn. This special midweek retreat is tailored for pastors, ministry leaders, and missionaries who need refreshment, encouragement, and inspiration to accomplish the work God has called them to do. Scott Wenger will lead sessions and discussions focused on conflict resolution in ministry, offering biblical encouragement and practical insight for addressing challenges with grace, wisdom, and Christlike character.

Tuesday, January 26

Arrive and check in beginning at 3:00 p.m. Take time to settle into your lodging, explore the property, and enjoy the serene environment of the Lodestar Mountain Inn. Following dinner and a welcome presentation, we will come together for an evening session designed to foster encouragement and meaningful discussion on effective conflict resolution. Skeet shooting will be available for those interested in testing their marksmanship for a $25 supply fee.

Wednesday, January 27

Following breakfast at 8:00 a.m., Scott will lead the group in examining biblical principles and practical approaches to resolving conflict in ministry relationships and leadership. The afternoon is yours to unwind, relax, and enjoy Lodestar’s amenities and Smoke Hole’s stunning scenery. Go for a stroll, reflect quietly, or simply enjoy a refreshing pause from ministry duties. Optional activities include hiking, fishing, and guided UTV tours of the property. We will gather again for dinner and fellowship at 5:30 p.m.

Thursday, January 28

We will gather for our concluding session and discussion after breakfast, wrapping up the retreat with motivation and practical wisdom. Checkout occurs at 12:00 p.m. Lunch will be available after checkout for guests who wish to stay.

This retreat offers more than a chance to get away; it presents an opportunity to rest, renew, reconnect, and develop alongside others who understand the challenges of ministry.
