Celebrating Our Amazing Volunteers at the Lodestar Mountain Inn
This month has been a wonderful reminder that ministry happens through willing hands and generous hearts. We are incredibly grateful to the many volunteers who have invested their time, energy, and talents to help care for the Lodestar Mountain Inn. Every project completed makes a difference for the guests who come here seeking rest, renewal, and connection with God.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to:
- Anchor of Hope Mennonite Church, whose volunteer team tackled an impressive list of outdoor projects. They weeded flowerbeds, cleaned up the volleyball court, washed outdoor furniture, trimmed trees, and mowed, helping our grounds look beautiful and welcoming.
- Christian Gospel Fellowship, whose group served in several areas across the property. They assisted our housekeeping team with daily tasks and deep cleaning, worked in the kitchen, and joined our grounds crew in clearing fallen pine trees from the campground.
- Miller Cabinets, who generously installed new cabinets in the basement of the Weaver House. Their excellent work has helped prepare the space for our new Gap Year Director Sam Thomas and his family as they move in this week.
- A dedicated veteran volunteer who worked tirelessly alongside our grounds and maintenance teams, clearing fallen pine trees from the campground and assisting with the renovations and build-out in the Weaver House basement.
- A faithful volunteer from our Honey Harvest Getaway, who continued serving in other ways after the event by helping with projects around the inn, demonstrating the lasting impact of a servant’s heart.
To each of these volunteers, thank you. Your generosity allows the Lodestar Mountain Inn to continue providing a place where guests can experience hospitality, fellowship, and spiritual renewal.
