Peace By Peace

Victory Weekend, a ministry division of Wingfield Ministries, Inc. is pleased to offer a seven-day intensive men’s retreat opportunity joining American veterans and Israeli Reservists, aged 38 to 46. This event, located deep in the beautiful Smoke Hole Canyon in Pendleton County, West Virginia will feature Peace By Peace session programming prepared by Do Hope Israel. Peace By Peace (PBP) is built on the understanding that trauma is not only an injury to the nervous system; it is an injury to relationship to self, to others, and to meaning in service.

The program integrates emotional processing, cognitive meaning-making, relational healing, nature-based therapies and more! Each day of the retreat will touch each area of the I-WE-IT model (Fred Kofman Adaptation):

• I is Inner Work (somatic awareness, emotional literacy, self-regulation, personal story)
• WE is Relational Work (trust, communication, co-regulation, vulnerability, shared leadership)
• IT is Purpose/Service (action in the world, identity as a contributor, mission beyond trauma)

• Rock climbing and rappelling
• Hiking
• Horseback riding
• Bowmaking and Archery
• Campfire
• Fly Fishing
• Special sessions featuring Steve Wingfield and Scott Wenger of Wingfield Ministries
