Victory Weekend Getaway

Our Victory Weekend Getaway at the Lodestar Mountain Inn March 21-23 offers US military veterans & first responders and their spouses the opportunity to fellowship with others who have served and experienced many of the same battles. Attendees will enjoy meaningful fireside discussions, participate in powerful prayers, and experience restoration. This event will be hosted by Scott and Amy Wenger, director and associate director of the Lodestar Mountain Inn, respectively. Amy is a US military veteran of 10 years, including a deployment to Baghdad, Iraq. Scott is currently serving as a Command Sergeant Major in the Army National Guard and served 26 years in the military, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan as well as stateside mobilizations.

During the weekend, participants will be challenged with the question, “What is your five-year plan?” and learn how to listen for God’s direction while making and following that plan.

Check in begins at 3:00 p.m. on Friday which allows plenty of time to settle in, meet other guests, and enjoy the serenity of the Smoke Hole Canyon before dinner at 6:00 in the Ebenezer Event Center.

Saturday morning, breakfast items will be provided at 8:00 a.m. followed by a special presentation. After brunch at 10:30 a.m., the Lodestar Mountain Inn is yours. Optional activities include skeet shooting at 2:00 p.m., self-guided hiking on our trails, fellowshipping with other guests, indoor card and board games, fishing in our ponds, and UTV tours of the property. Guests will enjoy dinner together at 6:00 p.m. followed by a special message.

After breakfast at 8:00 Sunday morning, we will gather for chapel service at 9:30 a.m. A light lunch will be made available before checkout at noon for anyone wishing to remain after chapel.

The cost with tax to be a part of this restorative weekend is $252.80 per individual or $393.60 per couple. An additional $25 supply fee will be charged to skeet-shooting participants.
