(August 1, 2022) Thank you to all of you who made the July 16, 2022, Lodestar Mountain Inn workday and OneLife Open House great and successful events.
During the workday, we were blessed to have a crew of six hardworking and energetic individuals from Pennsylvania and Georgia. A lot of much-needed work was accomplished as we enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship and blessings while we worked. On Sunday following breakfast, the group joined in praise and worship and an inspirational time in the Lord’s Scriptures in the Wesley Chapel. It is special any time people come to serve at the Lodestar Mountain Inn; we remain grateful for those who selflessly choose to use their time and talents for the Lord with us! A fall workday is coming in October, and we would love to serve with you then.
At the OneLife Open House, we welcomed five families and gave them an introduction to the OneLife program as well as the splendor of the Lodestar Mountain Inn. It is a joy to lead first-time guests around the property and share the story of the genesis of this beautiful facility. These families were in awe of the beauty of the surroundings as well as the provisions the Lord has prepared to make this a reality. Of the five students in attendance, one has committed to enrolling in the program this fall and two, rising juniors, intend to enroll as a part of the class of 2024. Currently, we are expecting twenty-two students (thirteen young women and nine young men) as members of the inaugural OneLife Institute class at the Lodestar Mountain Inn. Please join us in prayer for these students as well as any prospective students as they embark on a journey that will enable, equip, and empower them to change the world for Christ.
