Spring Getaway Weekend

Join us for our Spring Getaway Weekend on April 21-23, 2023.  We are glad to welcome Paul Dolbec to this event!  Paul has been teaching fly tying and two-handed casting for decades, and he will offer lessons on fly fishing and the art of making your own flies. You will have the opportunity to take the lessons learned and apply them at the pond.  Whether you reel in a big fish or not, a weekend fishing is just about as good as it gets.

Check-in begins as early as 3:00 p.m. on Friday, which gives guests plenty of time to get settled in and explore the campus before convening in the Ebenezer Event Center for a delicious catered dinner at 6:00 p.m.

On Saturday morning, join fellow participants as we delve into biblical character as part of a Lodestar Guidance session.  Following our fly fishing lessons, tours of the property will be offered, or take the opportunity to socialize and get to know other guests, rest and relax in the crisp, spring air, or practice your fly fishing skills at our pond.

Worship in the Wesley Chapel on Sunday morning will be the perfect conclusion to this enjoyable retreat.  An optional light lunch will be provided following the service, and guests are welcome to enjoy the inn throughout the afternoon.
