Recovery Leaders Getaway Weekend

Join us at the Lodestar Mountain Inn for our Recovery Rest Getaway June 20-22, 2025. This is a relaxing and restoring weekend getaway for those selfless individuals who serve in recovery ministries and need time to recharge. Nicole Wright, a group leader in Celebrate Recovery at the Harrisonburg First Church of the Nazarene, will be hosting the weekend and will be the keynote speaker on Saturday, offering meaningful rest and relaxation opportunities to all participants.

Guests will arrive on Friday, June 20 at 4:00 p.m. and convene for dinner at 6:00 p.m. in the Ebenezer Event Center. Following dinner, Scott and Amy Wenger will share amazing stories of faith and the genesis of the Lodestar Mountain Inn.

On Saturday, breakfast will be available at 8:00 a.m. followed by intentional free time to explore and enjoy the Smoke Hole Canyon. Optional activities include fishing in our ponds, hiking our trails, taking guided UTV tours of the property, playing indoor games, and more. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. followed by a panel discussion at 1:30 covering all of the topics facing recovery programs and the people they serve.  After the session, the afternoon is yours! Relax in the shade with a good book, explore the Lodestar Mountain Inn grounds, or visit nearby attractions. The options are limitless.

Following dinner at 6:00 p.m., Nicole will share her testimony and open the floor for others. Our evening plans give you the chance to play pool, enjoy your favorite card or board games, or just chat as you get to know other guests.

On Sunday, following breakfast at 8:00 a.m., our planned time together will conclude with chapel at 9:00 a.m. led by Jason Fike, our pastor in residence. After the service, rest and prepare for check-out. A light lunch will be available at 12:00.

The cost with tax to be a part of this restorative retreat is $252.80 for individuals or $393.60 for couples and includes lodging and meals.
