Maple Festival Getaway Weekend

It is nearly time for one of the greatest festivals on the East Coast – the Maple Festival in Highland County, VA, and we are welcoming festival-goers to stay at the Lodestar Mountain Inn during the event March 8-10. Tens of thousands of folks will flock to the Maple Festival for maple pancakes, pure maple syrup, maple donuts, barbequed chicken with maple sauce, homemade maple sugar candy, maple ice-cream, and many other sweet and savory treats. In addition, there will be dozens and dozens of unique and varied craft vendors to peruse. The highlight of the Maple Festival is the sugar camp tours. Observe how maple syrup is made from tree to bottle. 

We invite you to stay with us and make this the sweetest weekend ever! After a day exploring the festival, there is no better way to enjoy the weekend than returning to the comfort, beauty, and hospitality found at the Lodestar Mountain Inn!  

Check-in begins at 3:00 p.m. on Friday followed by a delicious dinner in the Ebenezer Event Center at 6:00. Guests will be greeted by our keynote speaker Steve Wingfield. 

Brunch will be served on Saturday at 10:30 a.m., but breakfast snacks and coffee will be offered at 8:00 a.m. for those heading to the Maple Festival early in the day.  For anyone who chooses to stay at the inn, optional activities include fishing in the ponds, touring the property on UTVs, hiking, or simply relaxing by the magnificent handcrafted stone fireplace in the Ebenezer Event Center. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. 

We will conclude the event on Sunday with breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and Bible study led by Scott Wenger, director of the Lodestar Mountain Inn.  A light lunch will be available before checkout at noon.  Guests are welcome to enjoy the campus throughout the afternoon.
