Ministry Leaders Retreat
Join us at the Lodestar Mountain Inn for our Fall Ministry Leaders Retreat September 16-18, 2025. This is a restful and regenerative midweek getaway for anyone who has answered the Lord’s call to serve in their local church or in a Christian ministry. Our recently appointed Pastoral Ministries and Ministry Relations Coordinator Jason Fike, Evangelist Steve Wingfield, and President Scott Wenger will be the keynote speakers. This is an awesome opportunity to rest, re-energize, and connect with others in ministry. Please read a short biography for Jason Fike below!
Guests will arrive on Tuesday, September 16 at 3:00 p.m. and convene for dinner at 6:00 p.m. in the Ebenezer Event Center. Following dinner, Scott and Amy Wenger will share amazing stories of faith and the genesis of the Lodestar Mountain Inn. The evening will end with a time of devotional thoughts with Steve.
On Wednesday, breakfast will be available at 8:00 a.m. After breakfast Jason will speak to the group about “Pressing Forward Against the Enemy’s Attacks.” Lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m., and after our meal, the afternoon is yours. Relax in the shade with a good book, fish, hike, take a guided UTV tour, try your hand at skeet shooting, explore the Lodestar Mountain Inn grounds, or visit nearby attractions. The options are limitless.
We will come together for dinner at 6:00 p.m. followed by an evening devotion from Jason focusing on 2 Timothy 3 and the act of worship through prayer.
On Thursday following breakfast at 8:00 a.m., Jason will offer a blessing and prayer over all guests. At 12:00 p.m. we will gather one final time for lunch before 1:00 p.m. departures.
The cost with tax to be a part of this restorative retreat is $252.80 for individuals or $393.60 for couples and includes lodging and meals.

Jason Fike lives in Bridgewater, Virginia. He originally grew up in the hills of Garrett County, Maryland. His family has a deep-rooted history of pastors in the Church of the Brethren going all the way back to Germany, and he has preached in many area churches over the years. He is married to Heather (Keim) from Holmes County, Ohio, and is a father of three great kids: Joel (11), Joshua (8), and Rachel (5). Two of his favorite pastimes are distance running and playing outside with the kids. He is currently pursuing his Bachelors of Science in Bible at Liberty University online, which he hopes to complete this year. Jason is an airplane mechanic and residential electrician by trade but has felt the call into pastoral ministry for some time, saying “I am not sure what specifically God has in store for me after I get my bachelor’s degree but am just remaining faithful in this next step He has called me to take.”
