(June 1, 2023) Summertime is the ideal time to take a few days to relax, reenergize, and renew your mind, soul, and body, and we are providing the perfect opportunity to make it happen! Join us June 23-25 at our Getaway Weekend at the Lodestar Mountain Inn. Allow us to serve you, giving you much-needed time to relax or to get outdoors and experience what this amazing area has to offer. Take an excursion to Seneca Rocks, peruse Harper’s Old Country Store for souvenirs and unique gifts, arrange to go horseback riding at Yokum’s Stables, schedule a tour on Cass Scenic Railroad, hit the links at Valley View Golf Course, see the hands-on displays and exhibits of radio astronomy at Green Bank National Radio Observatory & Science Center, hike the trails on the Lodestar Mountain Inn property, fish in the ponds or the South Branch River, or simply find a cool, shady spot and catch up on some reading, write in your journal, or even sketch the breathtaking views.
We will provide all meals, beginning with a delicious catered dinner on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the Ebenezer Event Center. Feel free to check in as early as 3:00 to get settled in and meet other guests. One highlight of the weekend will be worshipping together on Sunday morning in the Wesley Chapel. A light lunch will be provided after the service and the campus will be open to guests throughout the afternoon. The cost to attend is $252.80 for individuals or $393.60 for couples.
