Pastors Retreats

It greatly benefits the flock when their shepherd is well rested and ready to fend off wolves at a moment’s notice.  It also immensely serves our church congregations if our pastors are given time away to rest and rekindle the spiritual fire and passion within them.

Join us on February 21-23, 2023, for the first of two winter/spring Pastors Retreats.  This retreat will focus on the book The Master Plan of Evangelism by Dr. Robert Coleman, renowned author, disciple-maker, and evangelist.  In addition, we will delve into the principles of passion, courage, and humility and discuss how these vital characteristics shape our personal lives and our ministries.

Other highlights of this retreat include a warm welcome, telling of the Lodestar story, and dinner on Tuesday evening; an encouraging message from Steve Wingfield, property tours, and an introduction to Scott Boyer, Director of OneLife at the Lodestar Mountain Inn, and OneLife students on Wednesday; opportunities to hike, fish, or simply to rest and be still before the Lord; and meaningful and inspiring worship in the Wesley Chapel on Thursday morning.
