“and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.”  (Luke 2:7 NIV)

The birth of Jesus is a miraculous part of our history.  It is truly amazing that so many innkeepers were unaware that this man and woman who were looking for shelter would soon welcome the Messiah into the world.  Joseph and Mary were not among the wealthy elite; instead, they were “commoners,” which made it very easy for the innkeepers to simply turn them away.

Similar to this story, many people are told there is no room for them in today’s world.  Some are battling addiction, facing trauma from past situations, and those who have been beaten and battered by the storms of this life.  These battle-weary people are the reason the Lodestar Mountain Inn is in existence.

The Lodestar Mountain Inn is a place of healing, hope, rest, and restoration; a place where we can go in order to escape the noise and chaos of this world and simply focus on the God who unconditionally and steadfastly loves us.  There will always be room at the Lodestar Mountain Inn, as the Lord will always have room at His beautiful table for anyone who is looking to take a seat.

Prayerfully consider leaving your mark on the Lodestar Mountain Inn.  There is always a need for prayer, volunteers, and financial support.  To charitably give to the mission, click here.
